Be creative and have fun

I was once speaking to a wedding cake maker and decorator. She relayed to me the story of a bride who called her 5 days before her wedding in a terrible state: The bride had forgotten that she needed a wedding cake! Yes, she wanted to order her cake 5 days before the wedding. This is truly wedding planning gone wrong!

When I created my Wedding Planner it was just these sorts of mishaps that I aimed to prevent.

Actually, I developed this Wedding Planner with a number of goals in mind:

  • Informing the bride of all of the aspects of a Wedding that need to be planned.
  • Assisting the bride in understanding which tasks need to happen when and in what order.
  • Giving her a timeline calendar to be organised and easily view where she is in the planning process.
But, dare I say most importantly, to enjoy the planning process. I wish for the bride-to-be to be absorbed by the planner and its beauty and feel the excitement and wonder of this special time. It is inspirational.
